We all hate when our mothers tell us to clean up, right? Clean this or vacuum that. But what if “cleaning” could be fun? At first, we thought that was impossible too.

Countless trash can be found at parks and trails. In fact, its estimated that 100 million tons of trash get left annually at parks in the United States alone. Now that’s a lot of dirty socks to pick up. Although, we realized that parks and trails are not just play grounds for children. They are a representation of your community. Imagine how your mother would react if she found 100 million tons of trash in your room? It is our duty to ensure our Earth remains clean and safe. That’s why EcoBike hosts regular park cleanup days.

Didn’t I mention fun? Whats more fun then biking to a park, finding all sorts of crazy litter, and spending time in nature amongst friends. Then, to tie it all together, share a meal. Not only do we pick up litter, remove invasive plants, and maintain paths, but we also connect with the environment. At the end of the day whats better then seeing a nice clean park kids can feel safe in.
