Why have a bunch of teenagers united in order to help with the environment? I’m pretty sure homework is more fun than this.

Well let’s face it. Every day the planet is facing more and more threats. Global warming has accelerated exponentially in recent years. In fact, every year, the average expels around 4.6 metric tons of CO₂. Fun fact, your bike emits zero.

A bunch of teens educating us?

At first, admittedly, EcoBike’s founders Daniel and Aadi knew nothing about the environment. However we always loved to bike. Since we first met in second grade, we have gone for bike rides thousands of times, just the two of us. As we grew older our parents always told us “recycle,” but what does that really mean to two middle school kids? Then when out parents forced us to attend a seminar led by Keep Texas Beautiful, we knew this is what we were meant to do. Then came high school where we created EcoBike and took AP Environmental Science. We both excelled in this course not because of our grade but because of the further knowledge we acquired. Daniel is now a speaker for keep Texas beautiful.

At EcoBike, we don’t just bike. We teach. We learn. We grow.
